Ruth Emogene Malone

Mrs. Ruth Emogene Malone, 81, Crawfordsville, passed away Saturday, February 6th, at 3:51 AM, in the Franciscan St. Elizabeth Crawfordsville Hospital. She was born May 3rd, 1934, in Reynolds, Indiana. She married Norman Malone on October 13th, 1951, in Vincennes. He preceded her in death in 2012.

Ruth had last worked for 12 1/2 years at Kroger as a Cashier. Prior to that she worked for 17 years at Hi-Tek Lighting in the Shipping Department. She was a member of the Ladoga Nazarene Church; attended Vincennes Lincoln High School; and in her free time enjoyed camping.

She is survived by her children: Andrew Malone, Waveland; Robbie (Becky) Malone, Crawfordsville; Christine (John) Farrow, Avon; Pam Malone, Crawfordsville; and Toni (Steve) Gunderman, Crawfordsville. Also surviving are 13 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents.

Honoring Ruth's wishes, cremation without services was chosen, with a Private Family Committal Service to be held at Indian Creek Hill Cemetery, New Market, at later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: American Diabetes Association, 8604 Allisonville Road, Indianapolis, IN 46250
