Ruth Evelyn Suitors

Mrs. Ruth Evelyn Suitors, age 83, passed away on Monday morning July 3, 2017 while a resident of Whitlock House assisted living at Crawfordsville, In.

Ruth was born on July 12, 1933 in Fountain County Indiana the daughter of Carl and Mary (nee: Jones) Florey. She attended school at Veedersburg, In and received her diploma from Waynetown High School. On August 11, 1951 she married Cecil Max Suitors and they raised their three sons on a farm outside of Waynetown. For a number of years the family attended the Waynetown Methodist Church.

Ruth will be dearly missed by her sons, Floyd Kim (wife- Joanna) Suitors of Greencastle, In.; Lloyd Tim (wife - Diana) Suitors of Hillsboro, In and Michael Shane Suitors of Waynetown, In. She is also survived by her brother-in-law Herschell Suitors of Goshen, In. and sister-in-laws Sarah Suitors of Lafayette, In. and DeWay Florey of Crawfordsville, In., 9 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Ruth was preceded in death by her husband on August 11, 2014 and 2 brothers and 2 sisters.

Funeral services for Ruth Suitors will be held Friday July 7th at 12 noon at Shoemaker Funeral Home, 202 Bratton Rd. Waynetown, In. and officiated by Rev. Kevin Howey. Burial will immediately follow in the Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. The family will receive guests from 11 am Friday until the services.
