Sandra Lynn Booe

Sandra Lynn (York) Booe, age 67, of Kingman passed away on June 9, 2016 at St. Vincent Hospital in Williamsport. She was born in Paris, IL on September 9, 1948 to the late Ralph M. & Eleanor (Debolt) York.

Sandy graduated from Fountain Central High School in 1966 and married David Lee Booe on September 18, 1966. Throughout the years she worked at Covington Elementary School as a teacher's aide and worked for the United States Postal Service as the postmaster in New Ross for 16 years. She is a member of the Kingman Christian Church and enjoyed doing crafts, boating and camping with the family and loved her grandkids.

She is survived by her husband, David of Kingman; three sons, Toby (Sherri) Booe of Covington, Scott (Becky) Booe of Bargersville, and Jeromy (Heidi) Booe of GA; two brothers, Richard (Jane) York of Veedersburg and Steve (Billie) York of Kingman; 8 grandchildren, Lee, Caleb, Morgan, Ashley, Caitlin, Abby, Hayden, and Conner; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her son, Rick.

Family will receive friends on Monday, June 13, 2016 from 5-8 pm at Sanders Funeral Care, 203 S 1st Street, in Kingman. The funeral will be at 11:00am on Tuesday June 14, 2016 at the funeral home with Tim Lyons officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Covington.
