Sandra Humbert

Ms. Sandra Lee Humbert, 66, Crawfordsville, passed away Thursday, April 24, at 1:10 AM, in the Ben Hur Nursing Home. She was born September 13, 1947, in Crawfordsville, to Harold E. and Geraldine V. (Floyd) Humbert.

Sandra had worked as a Purchasing Agent for Stewart Systems in Dallas Texas for several years before returning to Crawfordsville in 2001. She was a 1965 Graduate of Crawfordsville High School and the Indianapolis Beauty School; attended the First Baptist Church of Crawfordsville; was a Black Belt in Karate; and as a former military wife, she lived in Europe and enjoyed traveling.

She is survived by her sister: Debra (Meredith) Manges, Crawfordsville; nieces: Carey Brown, Elmdale; and Lindsey (Kris) Ashburn, Hawaii; great nephew: Kelton Jackson; great niece: Evelynn Ashburn. She was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents.

Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 AM Monday, April 28, at the First Baptist Church, 1905 Lebanon Rd., with Rev. Isaac Zull officiating. Burial will be in the New Richmond Cemetery.
