Sharyl Lynn (Coleman) Livesay

Sharyl Lynn Livesay, 67, of Crawfordsville passed away with her family by her side on Wednesday, March 11th at Franciscan Hospital in Lafayette, IN after a prolonged illness.

Sharyl was born May 13th, 1952. She was married to the late John D Livesay who passed away October 8th, 1992. She is survived by her brother, Joe (Anne) Coleman of Palestine, TX, Children, Chris (Tracy) Livesay, Crawfordsville, Shelly Livesay, Indianapolis and Melissa (Gene) Tracy, Van Wert, OH. She also one nephew, Will Coleman along with 5 grandchildren, Amber McKinney, Corey Yund, Gracie Livesay, Chloie Livesay and Amber Howell along with 8 great grandchildren, Silas, Elsie, Joe, Miles, Maddilan, Roman, Brady, and Wrenn.

After raising their children, they became devoted foster parents to 26 children in Montgomery County in the mid 1980’s and early 1990’s.

Sharyl was known as a great friend and caregiver to her family and friends as well as a master at painting and wallpapering, working in many residences and businesses in Montgomery County over the years. She also worked for several years at Town and Country Homecenter.

Cremation was chosen with a graveside service at Indian Creek Hill Cemetery on Sunday, September 20, 2020 at 2:00pm with Pastor Bill Pike officiating.  Sanders Priebe Funeral Care entrusted with care. Share memories and condolences online at www.sandersfuneralcare.com
