Shirley Ann Hockett

December 9, 1952 — April 21, 2018

Shirley Ann (Hall) Hockett, age 65, of Crawfordsville passed away on Saturday, April 21, 2018 at Franciscan Health Crawfordsville. She was born in Crawfordsville on December 9, 1952 to the late Gerald & Patricia (Lawler) Hall.

Shirley graduated from New Market High School in 1971 and married Dean Hockett on August 31, 1998. She was a member of the New Market Baptist Church, Moose Lodge, Eagles, American Legion Auxiliary and the card club. She worked at RR Donnelly’s & Sons Company as a sewing operator for 25 years. She enjoyed doing crafts and spending time with her family especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, Dean Hockett; son, Kyle (Jessica) Moore; sister, Charlotte Kruckow; four grandchildren, Amaya, Kollin, Meagan, and Amanda; a great granddaughter; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Jerry & John Hall; and sister, Carla Foy.

Visitation will be at Sanders Priebe Funeral Care (formerly Powers Priebe Funeral Home), 315 S Washington St, in Crawfordsville on Wednesday, April 25, 2018 from 11:00am till the time of the funeral service at 2:00pm with Pastor Mike Nickle officiating.
