Sondra "Sonnie" Lou Trinkle

Sondra "Sonnie" Lou (Marshall) Trinkle, age 71 of Howard, passed away on Thursday, February 6, 2025, at home while surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Clinton, Indiana on July 14, 1953, to the late Gernon Edgar "Dutch" & Elizabeth Luisa (Newnum) Marshall.

On November 17, 1970, she married the love of her life, Lonnie Dean Trinkle, who preceded her in death on August 4, 2013. She was a loving mother, granny and homemaker. Throughout the years she worked at Steel Grip in Kingman and was a cook at the truck stop in Crawfordsville. She enjoyed cooking, crossword puzzles, gardening, mushroom hunting, and spending time with her family, especially the grandkids.

She is survived by a son, David Trinkle; five grandchildren, Kailynne (Jordon) McFall, Angel (Coleton Roche) Trinkle, Brianna (Christopher Stevens) Trinkle, Todd Wiatt and Tyler (Katie) Bailey; great grandchildren, Izzy, Eli, Issac, Aira, Andrew, Marshall, and Waylon; a daughter-in-law, Michelle Trinkle; many nieces and nephews, and a special friend, Martha Brewer.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Lonnie; a son, Tommy Dean Trinkle; and her siblings, Ora Paul Marshall, Rick Marshall, Perry Marshall, Virgil Marshall, Roy Marshall, Joy Ellis, and Carol Mosley.

There will be a Graveside Service at Rush Creek Cemetery in Tangier on Monday, February 10, 2025, at 11:00am with Steve Crum officiating.
