Tammy Lea (York) Neier

Tammy Lea (York) Neier, age 57 of Crawfordsville, passed away on Thursday, September 21, 2023 at home. She was born in Crawfordsville on November 25, 1965 to Clifton & Dimple (Gentry) York.

Tammy graduated from Southmont High School and on March 3, 1985 in Fort Myers, Florida. She married the love of her life, James Leslie Neier, who preceded her in death on January 25, 2006. She was a loving mother and homemaker. She enjoyed country music, arts and crafts, and watching crime dramas.

She is survived by her son, Justin Neier; her mother, Dimple York; two grandchildren, Brett and Katie Neier; five siblings, Roger (Robin) York, Steve (Jennifer) York, Joe (Liz) York, Susan Korte, and Mary Morrison; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her father, Clifton York; and her husband, James Neier.

Cremation was chosen with a Gathering of Family and Friends at Sanders Priebe Funeral Care, 315 S Washington St, in Crawfordsville on Saturday, October 7, 2023 from 1:00pm - 3:00pm.
