Timothy Joseph Cox

Timothy Joseph Cox, age 69, of Crawfordsville passed away on February 23, 2018 at IU Health North Hospital in Carmel. He was born in Crawfordsville on November 6, 1948 to the late Harold Lee & Betty (Evans) Cox.

Tim graduated from Crawfordsville High School and Indiana State University with a bachelor’s degree in Business Management. On June 6, 1970 he married the love of his life, Diane Marie (Cavanaugh) Cox, who preceded him in death on December 28, 2011. He worked in management for Lincoln Manufacturing in St. Louis, Missouri for over 20 years. He was a softball coach for his daughters, enjoyed playing the guitar, watching movies, listening to music, going to the park to feed the squirrels and ducks and walking the local trails.

He is survived by his two daughters, Michelle Dean of Indianapolis and Cindy Cox of Lafayette; two sisters, Cherie (Steve) Campbell of Darlington and Connie Weir of Crawfordsville; and several nieces and nephews.
