Mr. Tony Ray Shelton, 50, Crawfordsville, passed away in the Franciscan St. Elizabeth Crawfordsville Hospital on Friday, March 13th. He was born February 13th, 1965, in Crawfordsville, to Thomas W. and Barbara E. (Williams) Shelton.

Mr. Shelton worked at Acuity Brand Lighting for 27 years, last working in the Paint Assembly Line. He was a 1984 graduate of Crawfordsville High School; attended the Faith Baptist Church, near New Market; and enjoyed fishing, NASCAR, and his grandkids.

He is survived by his children: Nicole Haga, Crawfordsville; Tony R. Shelton,Jr., North Carolina; parents: Barbara Gibson, Ladoga; Thomas (step-mother: Anita) Shelton, Crawfordsville; step-mother: Janice Sue Delp, Florida; grandmother: Irene Williams, Ladoga; sisters: Angel (Ralph) Thornburg, Ladoga; Susan (Chris) Conkright, Ladoga; Pamela Shelton, Crawfordsville; Mandy (Bob) Boller, Ladoga; brothers: Jerry Shelton (husband: Andrew Bolosan), Pasadena, California; Tommy (Mandi) Hana, Evansville; and Jamie Gibson, Crawfordsville. Also surviving are his grandchildren: Arik A. and Elijah R. Haga. He was preceded in death by his step-father: Roger Gibson; his brother: Isaac Shelton; and grandparents: Clifton and Ethel Shelton.

Funeral services are scheduled for Noon Tuesday, March 17th, at Powers-Priebe Funeral Home, with Pastor James Thurston officiating. Burial will follow in the Oak Hill South Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday, March 16th, from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
