Travis Tyler Swinford

Travis Tyler Swinford, age 45 of Pittsboro and formerly of Crawfordsville passed away on Friday, November 23, 2018.  He was born in Bloomington, IN on April 8, 1973 to Tom Swinford and Barb (Spencer) Spees.

Travis graduated from Southmont High School in 1991 and attended Indiana University.  On September 20, 1997 he married the love of his life, Deborah (Hudson) Swinford, who survives.  He worked at International Paper for over 20 years as a print specialist.  He loved his sports, enjoyed keeping sports stats, golfing, and enjoyed watching his favorite teams, I.U., Chicago Cubs, and the Colts.  He loved to read a good book and loved spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Deborah; his three children, Hannah, Tyler, and Jacob; his father, Tom (Beth) Swinford; his mother, Barbara Spees; two sisters, Heather (Ryan) Sallee and Aubrie (Landen) Hardy; five brothers, Matthew (Chasidy) Swinford, Jared (Megan) Swinford, Aaron (Shoshana) Swinford, Koy Swinford, and Bryan Downs; his grandma, Patsy Spencer; father-in-law, Ron Hudson; and mother-in-law, Kaye (David) Hovde.

He is preceded in death by his stepfather, Bob Spees; his sister, Heidi Swinford; and grandparents, Marvin (Betty) Swinford and Gene Spencer.

Visitation will be at Sanders Priebe Funeral Care, 315 S Washington St, in Crawfordsville on Wednesday, November 28, 2018 from 5 – 8pm.  The funeral service will be Thursday, November 29, 2018 at 1:00pm at the funeral home.  Burial will follow at Mace Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to the American Heart Association, 6500 Technology Drive Suite 100, Indianapolis, IN 46279.  Share memories and condolences online at www.sandersfuneralcare.com
