Troy Allen Light

Troy Allen Light, age 65 of Crawfordsville, passed away on Tuesday, October 19, 2021. He was born in Indianapolis on October 16, 1956 to the late Harold and Evelyn (Wilson) Light.

Troy graduated from Speedway High School in 1976. He married the love of his life, Cindy Jane Ross on May 14, 1983. He worked at MCL Cafeterias and Crown Cork & Seal. He retired from LSC Communications in 2020. He enjoyed traveling and spending time with his family, models, and matchbox cars. Since being retired, he could be found relaxing. Troy was known as a hard worker who loved his family. He loved animals and animals loved him, especially his kitten Shadow.

Troy is survived by his wife, son Kyle (Jessi) Light; three grandchildren, Claudia Caldwell, Drew and Alex Sells; three brothers, Mark (Cindy) Light, Craig (Billi) Light, and Brian (Nora) Light; a sister, Pamela (Clark) Brooks; a sister-in-law, Debra Light; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Keith Light.

Visitation will be at Sanders Priebe Funeral Care, 315 S. Washington Street in Crawfordsville on Friday, October 22, 2021 from 11:00 am until the time of Funeral Service at 1:00pm.
