V. Avanelle Bowen

V. Avanelle (Henry) Bowen, age 90, of Charlestown, IN, a 47 year resident of Danville Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, March 14, 2018 in Charlestown. She was born in Coalcreek Township, Montgomery County, IN on July 31, 1927 to the late Carl & Pearl (Whitecotten) Henry. On October 8, 1946 in Lizton, IN she married the love of her life, Forrest Bowen, who preceded her in death in July of 1990. She was the co-owner of Danville Collection Credit Bureau and Tri-County Collections, and later worked at Maplehurst Deli-Bake.

She is survived by her two sons, Daniel Bowen of Canton, OH and Craig Bowen of Charlestown, IN; one daughter, Brenda Bowen of Phoenix Arizona; one sister, Carol Biggs of Darlington; 4 grandchildren, Carl, Adam, Ryan and Grace; and one great grandchild, Caiden.
