Virginia Lee Brock

Virginia Lee (Graves) Brock of Veedersburg passed away in her home surrounded by her family on February 18, 2016. Virginia was born August 22, 1938 near Attica, IN to the late James Thomas and Belva Laurie (Slayton) Graves. She graduated from Kingman High School and married Johnnie Brock on October 20, 1956. She was a life-long member of the Veedersburg Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses where she served faithfully until her death. Virginia loved dancing, and also enjoyed sewing and quilting. Each of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren have a quilt that was lovingly created and personalized by her.

Virginia is survived in death by her husband of 60 years Johnnie Brock; her children Randy (Sandy) Brock of Danville, IL, Marla (Robert) Knight of Hillsboro, Jonda (Douglas) Poad of Lafayette, and Kristina (Brad) Hale of Waveland; her grandchildren Jessica Mannon-Phillips, Kayla Britton, Joshua Knight, Tyrell Brock, Hunter Hale, Logan Poad, Brylee Hale, and Levi Poad; and her great-grandchildren Teeya Hanthorn, Austin and Tyler Mannon, and Beau Britton.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, February 27, 2016 at 1 PM at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 480 N. US Highway 41, Veedersburg. Sanders Funeral Care entrusted with care.
