Virginia "Ginny" Greene

Virginia "Ginny" Ann (Waltz) Greene, age 84 of Kingman, passed away on Monday, November 18, 2024 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Indianapolis on December 27, 1939 to the late Ivery F & Leona W. (Near) Waltz.

On May 5, 1956 she married the love of her life, Max Wayne Greene, who preceded her in death on September 6, 2007. She was a loving mother and homemaker and throughout the years she worked at the Head Start in Rockville and the Kingman IGA. She enjoyed playing cards, dice and loved attending her kids and grandkids ballgames. She loved her wild earrings and will be remembered for her spunky and full of life personality.

She is survived by her four children, William Ivery Greene of Perrysville, Richard Lee Greene of Kingman, Scott Joseph (Stacey) Greene of Georgetown, IL and Robert Kent (Kathy) Greene of Chipley, FL; 17 grandchildren; 35 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild, 1 on the way; and her companion, Bud Denny.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Max; a son, Max Andrew "Andy" Greene; a brother, George Odis "Sonny" Waltz; and a sister, Barbara Lou Waltz Beane.

Visitation will be at Sanders Funeral Care, 203 S 1st Street, in Kingman on Friday, November 22, 2024 from 12:00pm till the time of the funeral service at 2:00pm with Pastor Steve Crum officiating.
