Vivian Kathleen Watson, age 91, of Danville, Indiana passed away on Wednesday, March 18, 2020 in Danville Regional Rehabilitation. She was born on September 12, 1928 in Duncan Falls, OH to Raymond and Muriel (LaGrange) Severance.
Vivian graduated from Philo High School in Philo, Ohio and on March 28, 1948 she married, Murl Watson, who preceded her in death in June of 1988. She was a loving mother and homemaker and was the manager of Executive Mobile Home Estates in Yucaipa, California. She loved going to Vegas and playing her nickel slots. She also enjoyed reading and doing her puzzle books. She loved her family and loved spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by two sons, Michael (Nanette) Watson of Crawfordsville and Scott Watson of Danville; one daughter, Lynn Watson of Yucaipa, California; 6 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; and three nieces.
Vivian was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Murl; a daughter, Julie Hooper; a grandson, Brent Watson; a brother, James “Dutch” Severance; and a sister, Norma “Clell” Davis.
There will be a private family viewing with a graveside service planned at Riverside National Cemetery in Riverside California at a later date.
