Walter Finitzer

Mr. Walter H. "Wally" Finitzer, 70, Crawfordsville, passed away Sunday, June 23, at 5:13 AM in the St. Vincent Hospital, Indianapolis. He was born October 29, 1942, in Cleveland, Ohio, to John H. and Barbara (Ratcher) Finitzer. He married Judith A. Graham, June 22, 1968 in Crawfordsville. She survives.

Mr. Finitzer retired after 40 years with R R Donnelleys. He was a 1960 graduate of Crawfordsville High School; was a member of the Christ Lutheran Church, Crawfordsville; and was a U S Navy Veteran.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son: Eric (Lissette) Finitzer, Phoenix, Arizona; his Mother: Barbara Finitizer, Lima, Ohio; brothers: John and David Finitzer; sisters: Linda Morris, Patricia Jones, and Barbara Hawk. Also surviving are his grandsons: Adrian Walter and Alexander Michael Finitzer. He was preceded in death by his Father.

Funeral services will be held Friday, June 28, at 10:00 AM, at the Powers-Priebe Funeral Home, with Rev. Jim Ranard officiating. Burial will be in the Oak Hill South Cemetery, with military rites being conducted by the Crawfordsville VFW and American Legion Posts. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday, June 27, from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
