Miss Wanda Faye Simpson, 66, Crawfordsville, passed away Sunday, July 7,at 2:05 PM in St. Elizabeth East Hospital, Lafayette, Indiana. She was born June 4, 1947, in Douglas County, Illinois, to Vola (Jim) and Frances (Hackett) Simpson.

Miss Simpson was an Avon Cosmetic Representative for 12 years and had worked at various restaurants. She was a 1965 graduate of Waveland High School; was a very active member of the First United Methodist Church, Crawfordsville, and the Esther Circle at the church; and enjoyed cooking, embroidery, gardening, square dancing, NASCAR and Jeff Gordon, Pacer Basketball, and football

She is survived by sisters: Betty Jane (Bob) Watson, Waveland; Anna May (Richard) Gates, Elk Horn, Nebraska; brother: Charles W. (Kaye) Simpson, Tuscola, Illinois; several nieces and nephews; and several great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother: James Russell Simpson.

Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 AM Wednesday, July 10, at Powers-Priebe Funeral Home, Crawfordsville, with Rev. Doug Givan officiating. Burial will be in the Camargo Cemetery, Camargo, Illinois, Wednesday, at 3:30 PM Crawfordsville time ( 2:30 PM Illinois time). Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM. Memorials may be made to the : First United Methodist Church, 212 E. Wabash Ave., Crawfordsville, IN 47933
