Warren Riddell

Mr. Warren F. Riddell, 46, Darlington, passed away after a short illness at St. Elizabeth East Hospital at 3:22 AM on Tuesday, November 25th. He was born on August 2, 1968 in Crawfordsville, to Darrell R. and Betty L. (Gordon) Riddell. He was married to Rita E. VanGilder. She survives.

Mr. Riddell worked for Acuity Brands Lighting in the Maintenance Department for the past 28 years. He attended North Putnam Schools; was a member of the Crawfordsville Gun Club; and enjoyed hunting and 4-wheeling.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by their son, Tucker Warren, at home. Also surviving is his Mother: Betty Riddell, Crawfordsville; brother: Darrell (Becky) Riddell, Darlington; sisters: Debbie (Greg) Swinney, Mooresville; Margaret (Mike) Weller, Lafayette; and Penny (Jeff) Stewart, Brazil; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. He was preceded in death by his Father and grandparents.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM Saturday, November 29th, at Powers-Priebe Funeral Home, with Jim Leaming officiating. Burial will follow at Odd Fellows Cemetery, Darlington, Indiana. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from Noon until 2:00 PM. Memorials may be made to the Tucker W.
