Whitney Cohee

Miss Whitney Lynn Cohee, 26, New Market, passed away in her home on Tuesday, July 2. She was born November 2, 1986, in Crawfordsville, to Christopher D. and Tamara L. (Sutherlin) Cohee.

Whitney had graduated from Southmont High School and was currently in her last semester studying Social Work at IUPUI. She was a member of the Christ Lutheran Church, Crawfordsville; enjoyed listening to her music and attending craft festivals.

She is survived by her son, Jaxon Cohee, whom she loved more than anything else; her parents of New Market; brother: Nickolas (Amy) Crull, Crawfordsville; grandparents: Dale and Bonnie Cohee, Crawfordsville; and Jack and Frances Sutherlin, Darlington. She was preceded in death by her great grandparents.

A Memorial Service is being planned and organized by her family and church friends to be held on Saturday, July 6, at Noon, at the Christ Lutheran Church, 300 W. South Boulevard, Crawfordsville, with Pastor Kelly Nelson officiating. The family will greet friends at the church on Saturday from 10:00 AM until the service time.
