William Edwin Jellison

William Edwin Jellison, 83, of Crawfordsville, Indiana went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, November 5, 2022. Bill was born on May 23, 1939 in Indianapolis to parents Eddie and Alice Madden Jellison.

Bill was a member of the Apostolic Bible Church in Brownsburg, where he served as an Elder. He retired from Detroit Diesel Allison in Indianapolis after 31 years of loyal employment. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge of Roachdale and the Scottish Rite of Indianapolis. His favorite hobby was working on cars as his dad owned a mechanic shop in Bainbridge for many years. He also loved his many furry friends over the years especially his best buddy Simon.

Bill's faith and family were the most important things to him. He married the love of his life, Delores, on January 23, 1976, and they have been loving each other ever since. Bill is survived by his son Brad and wife Karen of Austin, TX, his son Jason and wife Allison of Palatine, IL, and his step-daughter Mitzi Cloncs of Hillsboro, IN. Bill was especially proud of his grandchildren Scott, Stephen, Gretchen, Emma, Mallory, Tiffany, Lindsey, and Ashley along with his 11 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandson. He is also survived by his sisters Alberta Johnson, Lois Harlan and husband Jim, and Connie Breedlove and partner John.

William is preceded in death by his parents, his sister Vera Walton, brother-in-law Dale Breedlove, step-daughter Sandra Jo Cloncs Cashmore, and infant grandson William Michael Jellison.

Bill's final resting place will be in Oak Hill South Cemetery with Pastor Jimmy D. Ogle and Sister Sharp officiating the private service.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Montgomery County Animal Welfare League.
