William "Bill" Mahan

William “Bill” Gene Mahan, age 52 of Waveland passed away on Monday, May 14, 2018 at Kindred Health Care in Indianapolis. He was born in Williamsport on June 10, 1965 to Raymond G. & Mary L. (Norman) Mahan.

Bill graduated from Seeger High School in 1983 and on January 5, 1990 in Veedersburg, IN he married the love of his life, Diana Jean (Layne) Mahan, who survives. Throughout the years Bill worked at RR Donnelly’s and Inland Container and owned Horseless Carriage car lot in Crawfordsville. He enjoyed collecting knives and guns, loved cars, action movies, going to festivals, auctions, and Myrtle Beach, but most of all loved family get togethers and cookouts.

He is survived by his wife, Diana of Waveland; his mother, Mary Mahan of Williamsport; his grandmother, Ruth Norman of Greencastle; two sons, Matthew (Mackenzie) Mahan of Fillmore and Noah Mahan of Waveland; a brother, James Mahan of Crawfordsville; and his three cats, Chip, Rascal, and Selena.

He was preceded in death by his father, Raymond Mahan and grandfather, Curtis Norman.

Visitation will be at Sanders Priebe Funeral Care (formerly Powers Priebe Funeral Home), 315 S Washington St, in Crawfordsville on Saturday, May 19, 2018 from 11:00am till the time of the funeral service at 2:00pm with Jim Denman officiating. Burial will follow at Little Walnut Cemetery outside Greencastle. Memorial donations may be given to the National Kidney Foundation, 911 E 86th Street Suite 100, Indianapolis, IN 46240 in Bill’s memory. Sanders Priebe Funeral Care entrusted with care.
