William D Sanders

William "Bill" D. Sanders, age 75, of Kingman passed away on Monday, June 24, 2013 at 2:05pm at home surrounded by his loving family after a battle with cancer. Bill was born in Crawfordsville on November 19, 1937 to the late Arba and Bertha (Schoen) Sanders. He attended New Market High School and on April 17, 1954 married Beverly (French) Sanders in New Ross, who survives.

Bill served 4 years in the National Guard and was employed over the years at the California Pellett Mill as a machine operator, Indiana State Highway Department, and Coon Implement in the parts department. He spent many years as a farmer and enjoyed going to auctions, especially farm sales.

He is survived by his wife, Beverly (French) Sanders of Kingman; two sons, William (Connie) Sanders Jr. of Veedersburg and Glen (Heather) Sanders of Veedersburg; one daughter; Linda (Larry) Lough of Darlington; 14 grandchildren, Michelle, Scott, Paxton, Lora, David, Darrin, Clay, Jacob, Levi, Blair, Grant, Felicia, Phillip, and Caitlin; and 6 great-grandchildren, Preston, Raeleigh, Tristan, Jayda, Korbin, and Mackenzie.

Family will receive friends from 5-8pm, Thursday, June 27, 2013 at Sanders Funeral Care, 203 S 1st Street, Kingman. Funeral services Friday, June 28, 2013 at 11am with Pastor Bill Parks officiating.
