Mrs. Wilma Jean Bullock, 80, Crawfordsville, passed away Friday, August 3, at 5:40 PM, in the Ben Hur Nursing Home. She was born April 28, 1932, in Yountsville, to Everett C. and Thelma C. (Todd) Hargis. She married J. D. Bullock on September 15, 1952, in Crawfordsville. He preceded her in death on January 29, 2000.
Mrs. Bullock was a homemaker and had worked as a clerk at the Dye Feed & Farm Supply. She also had worked at Crawford Industries. She attended New Market Schools.
She is survived by her son: Jody (Kathy) Bullock; her daughters: Jacqueline Sue Riddle; Bonnie Lou (Dan) Brown; and Layla Elon (Spencer) Franklin, all of Crawfordsville. Also surviving are her brothers: Donald (Phyllis) Hargis, Parkersburg; Dick Hargis, Crawfordsville; grandchildren: Melissa Tarter, T.J. Riddle, Shawna McGrath, Kevin Kamradt, Brad Brown, and Jason Brown; 4 great grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her son: Jerry; her daughter: Peggy Lee Bullock Willhite; and a brother: Jackie Dean Hargis.
Cremation was selected without funeral services. Powers-Priebe Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.
