Yvonne Lea Melvin

Heaven's gates welcomed Yvonne Lea (Caldwell) Melvin, 48, on Thursday, December 14th, 2017.We are sure she is dancing with her husband, Bill, as well as rejoicing with her father, Gary; however, she is most happy to be with her Lord and Savior.Yvonne was born December 8th, 1969, in Crawfordsville, to Gary and Marcia Caldwell. She married Bill Melvin on June 11th, 1994. He preceded her in death in 2012.

Yvonne was a 1987 graduate of North Montgomery High School; a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church; and enjoyed playing cards, board games, and working puzzles.

She is survived by her Mother, Marcia; sisters: Rachel Davis of Georgia; Kerith (Brian) Bourff of Crawfordsville; and her brother: Dirk (Cathy) Caldwell of Florida. She is also survived by several aunts and uncles, as well as nieces and nephews.In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her father in 2006.

Celebration of Life Services will be held at 1:30 PM on Thursday, December 21st, at the Trinity United Methodist Church, 110 S. Blair St., Crawfordsville, with Rev. Judi Early officiating.Burial will follow in the Waynetown Masonic Cemetery.Friends and family may call at the church on Thursday from 11:30 AM until 1:30 PM.Donations in Yvonne's name may be made to: Powers-Priebe Funeral Home, (to defray expenses), 315 S.
