David Sloan McClamroch, age 82 of Waynetown, passed away at home on Friday, February 14, 2020. He was born in Crawfordsville on August 13, 1937 to the late Charles & Mary Ann (Lewellen) McClamroch.
David graduated from Crawfordsville High School and throughout the years worked as a mechanic for UPS and worked on the oil rigs for Exxon Mobile. He loved the outdoors and the mountains. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, going to auctions and reading.
He is survived by his children, Bruce McClamroch of Crawfordsville, Melodie (Tommy) Newlin of Crawfordsville, and Davaina (Kaline) Schounce of Carmel; brother, Hal McClamroch; sisters, Jo McClamroch, Cathy Herron and Dolly (Tim) Thelker; grandchildren, Ashley (Brendan) Gleason, Greg McClamroch, Haley Pursell, Abigail Schounce, and George Schounce; great grandchildren, Braxton Smith, Cohen McClamroch, Ledger Lyons and Mya McClamroch; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Jim McClamroch, and two sisters, Kay Carmichael and Ann Warren.
