Macy Lewis
Funeral Director, Preplanning Specialist, and Aftercare Services

Being involved in the funeral service industry since she was 16, Macy’s passion for serving families began at an early age. She graduated from Cascade High School in the class of 2012, and then went on to graduate from Ivy Tech Community College with an Associate of Applied Science degree in Mortuary Science and Funeral Service in 2017. Macy became a licensed funeral director/embalmer and life insurance producer in 2018.

Macy and her younger sister, MaKenzie, enjoyed showing swine, beef cattle, and sheep all 10 years they were in 4-H, as well as numerous livestock shows across the Midwest. Macy’s family continues to run a row crop farm as well as raising beef cattle. Macy and her sister are the fourth generation in their family to farm and show livestock.

Although the first in her family to be involved in funeral service, Macy enjoys helping families make thoughtful selections for the future, as well as providing support, knowledge, and resources after a death has occurred. Losing her mother suddenly at age 50 with no plans in place quickly became Macy's “why”, encouraging her to serve families better and really express the value of advance planning to others.

When not working in the funeral home, Macy enjoys taking her boat out on the water, writing, attending Mass, going to livestock shows, and traveling. She is a member of the Catholic Business Network, St. Roch Catholic Church, and the Indiana Funeral Directors Association.
